Welcome to Funky Curry - Australia's #1 chain of Indian fast food restaurants. We bring you healthy and mouth watering Indian food at a sensible price. Funky Curry is a chain of Indian Fast food restaurants in Melbourne, Australia.

We serve mouth watering Indian curries and fast food at a comfortable price. Funky Curry is not your standard Indian restaurant with dozens curries neatly divided by vegetarian, lamb and chicken. Our menu is fresh, funky and features stuff that Indian people actually eat when they go out for a meal.

Our food is mostly self service, and we make it fresh and we make it quick.

We can make curries for any heat level - from "chilli virgin" all the way to "i can’t feel my ears" hot. If you are in the mood for a spicy curry, you won’t have to ask twice here to "make it spicy".

Six years back in year 2004, we opened our first outlet at Midtown Plaza, Bourke street mall. Looking back at all these years, we believe that the thing that has brought us all the way here was consistency of providing quality food.

The picture was pretty clear with the success of our first outlet which made us open our first branch at Bourke Street in year 2006.Funky Curry 1 was the name given and it highlighted the idea of presenting authentic Indian food in a new ‘funky’ way. We were fortunate enough to get an awesome response to our concept. The idea was new and we kept it fresh till now by redefining it every day. In one year, we opened FC2 at king street. It was always so good watching students from the universities around to come and have food, feeling ‘home away home’ with every meal.We always tried to give best comfortable environment and fortunately succeeded.

The bain-marie ‘ready-to-go’ food was good enough for 5 minutes lunch break. Where crowded Bourke Street includes shoppers and students, FC2 being surrounded by corporate offices usually gets 9am-5pm customers.
